Acoustic curtains and sheers

We would like to introduce you to a portion of our “smart textiles”: These are acoustic fabrics with real sound-proofing qualities that we use to design and sew custom acoustic curtains.

Many of our customers have the idea that when they need curtains with sound-proofing qualities, they will have to choose between only dense and heavy fabrics. Customers are pleasantly surprised to discover that nowadays acoustic curtain fabrics are so technically fine-tuned that even a curtain made of fine fabric or mesh can absorb sound.

The transparent acoustic curtain is a great addition that can be combined with other modern architectural elements such as concrete, glass or metal. Acoustic curtains and drapes are often chosen by architects and designers because they absorb unpleasant echoes in the interior. They also balance the climate and light in the space, thus increasing the feeling of well-being and peace without losing their influence on the design.

Included in our fabric portfolio are fabrics that have special certifications and decibel tests.
These fabrics are a good choice for clients who are looking for curtains and drapes for home cinema – for example acoustical velvet or some other appropriate acoustical fabric material – or even for another quite special purpose like a home small recording studio.

Or perhaps for those who live in the city and may want to soundproof outside urban sounds and enjoy an interior with a pleasant subdued atmosphere.
